What is the "SQUARE4 GENERATOR"?

The "SQUARE4 GENERATOR" is an Instrument Rack for Ableton 12 or 11 that instantly generates an unlimited amount of square*4 type basses at the click of a button.

IMPORTANT:

• Plug-ins used: Serum 2, Serum 2 FX, Disperser (optional)
• Make sure you've downloaded the latest versions of both Serum 2 and Serum 2 FX (XferRecords.com)
• This product requires Ableton Live 12 or 11 Suite, and will not work with the Lite, Standard, or Intro version
• The main version of the "GUERRO - SQUARE4 GENERATOR" requires an extra third-party plugin, which is Disperser from Kilohearts, where as the stock version works with just Ableton & Serum 2. I highly recommend grabbing Disperser though, as the sound is a lot higher quality! (Both versions are included in your purchase)
• For the best quality, use the Ableton 12 version of the rack

How to Install the "SQUARE4 GENERATOR":

Drop the .adg file into this folder:

Windows: *\Documents\Ableton\User Library\Presets\Instruments\Instrument Rack\

OSX: User/Music/Ableton/User Library/Presets/Audio Effects/Instrument Rack

or

Drop the .adg into an Ableton Project, and save it manually by clicking the save/floppy disk icon on the top left of the rack

How to Use the "SQUARE4 GENERATOR":

After loading up the Instrument Rack, you can manually play around with the macro buttons, or simply hit the "random" button and let the generator create sounds for you:

The macros have been designed to be used from about 0-75% (3 o' clock). Anything over that will create some extra artefacts that are more suitable to create fx/layers.
